Taraji P. Henson is adding talk show host to her resume.

The Empire star will be hosting a new Facebook Watch series called Peace of Mind with Taraji, centered on mental wellness. Henson’s friend Tracie Jade Jenkins, who is executive director of the actress’ Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, will co-host the talk show.

The series will feature the two women discussing mental health issues facing the world today, particularly as they pertain to the African-American community. Each episode will focus on a different mental health topic.

Henson said the goal of the series is to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

“I’ve long been a mental health advocate for the Black community and created the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation in 2018 that has provided resources to thousands of people who are struggling,” Henson shared in a statement. “I’m looking forward to bringing this new talk series to Facebook Watch, where I can continue to create conversation around an issue that is near and dear to my heart.”

Mina Lefevre, head of development and programming at Facebook Watch added: “The work Taraji has done in the mental health space is inspiring, and we’re thrilled to have her come to our platform to educate and entertain around this incredibly important topic.”

Peace of Mind with Taraji is produced by 495 Productions, with Henson, Tracie Jade Jenkins, SallyAnn Salsano and Jennifer Ryan serving as executive producers. Ebony McClain is co-executive producer.
