“We must stop this senseless violence,” LAPD chief Michel Moore tweeted.
The actress delivered an emotional speech at Hussle’s memorial service.
“He set an example for young people to follow,” the former president said.
“Havana” singer will also be involved in the music for the film.
“Nipsey will always be remembered,” a city councilman says about the honor.
The service will be held Thursday at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The co-host and show creator made the announcement on Tuesday’s show.
