Gloria Estefan promises to bring difficult conversations and important issues to the forefront with her new talk show Red Table Talk: The Estefans.

On Oct. 7, Facebook Watch will debut the series, which is a spinoff of Jada Pinkett Smith’s popular talk show Red Table Talk.

The new series will feature award-winning musician Estefan, her daughter Emily Estefan, and her niece Spanish-language TV personality Lili Estefan. The family will sit around the table discussing key topics with other relatives, friends and celebrity guests.

“We’re talking about relationships, love and sexuality,” Emily shared in the first trailer for the new show, while her mom reacted in mock horror.

Guests will include Gloria Estefan’s husband, Emilio Estefan; Mexican actress Kate del Castillo; actresses Michelle Rodriguez and Rosie O’Donnell; and Gloria Guillen, mother of slain soldier Vanessa Guillen.

The spinoff will try to keep the same format that Pinkett Smith popularized with her original hit series.

Red Table Talk: The Estefans is produced by Pinkett-Smith, Westbrook Studios and Gloria Estefan, with Ellen Rakieten and Miguel Melendez serving as executive producers.

“I’m incredibly proud of Red Table Talk, and thrilled to build upon this franchise with my family and with Gloria, Emily and Lili,” Pinkett Smith said in a statement when news of the spinoff was first announced. “Red Table Talk has created a space to have open, honest and healing conversations around social and topical issues, and what’s most powerful for me is hearing people’s stories and engaging with our fans in such a tangible way on the Facebook Watch platform. I’m excited to see the Estefans put their spin on the franchise and take it to new places.”

Red Table Talk: The Estefans premieres on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 9amPT / 12pmET on Facebook Watch.
