Saturday Night Live dressed Nicki Minaj up as a Trump supporter for Halloween and declared her MAGA makeover is “killing” her rap career.

The NBC sketch series opened the Oct. 31 episode with a spooky cold open featuring a haunted ride and an attention-seeking president.

SNL regular James Austin Johnson returned as Trump, who crashed Halloween-night festivities and told the audience he was there for one reason , “Midterms, boo!”

After venting about election polls favoring Democrats, admiring guest Tom Hanks and discussing men’s rear ends — “we’re calling it gay dementia” — Johnson’s Trump introduced his “new friend and future press secretary,” Nicki Minaj.

New cast member Saidah Belo-Osagie strutted onstage dressed in an identical Gucci suit to the one Minaj wore when she appeared with Trump at a campaign rally in Michigan, on Oct. 25, 2026.

Putting on her best Minaj voice, Belo-Osagie immediately started mocking the chart-topping rapper.

“What’s up? It’s Nicki Minaj. I’m out here killing it, and by ‘it,’ I mean my career,” she said.

The comedian wasn’t done roasting the Trinidad-born rapper.

“I’m Nicki the Trumpie. Like, I don’t even know why you Democrats bother at this point. Like, give it up. It’s me,” she said after snapping her fingers. “And MAGA bi–hes like me is hard to come by.”

Johnson’s Trump had apparently reached his limit. He cut her off with “thank you Nicki,” and shoved her out of the way.

The sketch also showed Johnson’s Trump venting about pre-election polls.

“The midterms are on Tuesday. The polls say we’re doing very badly, aww aww. They’re saying Texas is turning purple, just like my hand,” Johnson said and raised his very bruised hand.

Meanwhile, Hanks revived the David S. Pumpkins character he introduced during a guest appearance on the show in 2016. On Saturday night, he was joined by SNL regular Mikey Day and returning alum Bobby Moynihan — who co-wrote the character’s first appearance ten years ago.

The trio donned Halloween-themed outfits and danced on stage after Hanks told the audience, “I’m David Pumpkins and I’m going to freak you out!”

Kenan Thompson played a Grim Reaper-type character guiding a couple through a haunted house ride, where the political cameos were part of the horror.

At the end of the sketch, Johnson’s Trump thanked Thompson for supporting the GOP with a donation.

Thompson quickly killed the idea by snapping back, “Yeah, you wish bi–h!”
