Williams Guobadia, who now goes by her married name, was a fan favorite when she appeared on the reality series for seasons 5 to 13.

As part of her new agreement, Williams Guobadia has inked an overall scripted talent deal with NBCUniversal Entertainment, the company said in a press release. Per the terms of the deal, she’ll work on scripted projects for broadcast and streaming.

“I’m incredibly thankful for the vision and faith NBCUniversal has put in me to be a larger part of their family,” she said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to being back on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and showing the world my new world!”

The reality star, author and TV host left RHOA in September 2021, to pursue other projects.

Since then, the former Dish Nation co-host released her memoir, The Pursuit of Porsha: How I Grew Into My Power and Purpose. She also launched RHOA spinoff Porsha’s Family Matters, and appeared on Peacock’s Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

Now as Bravo looks to rebrand RHOA, Williams Guobadia will once again be a peach-holder.

News of her return comes just days after Kandi Burruss announced she would exit the series after 14 seasons, saying Bravo was taking too long to let the cast know who’d be asked back for the new season.

“It’s been 14 seasons, and they allowed us to sit around for a little too long, but during that time I had started working on a lot of other things, and I got some nice big projects coming soon, so I’m super excited about those things,” Kandi told Variety on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 4.

Season 15 of RHOA concluded in September 2023. In addition to Kandi, the main cast included Kenya Moore, Shereé Whitfield, Drew Sidora, Marlo Hampton, and Sanya Richards-Ross.

But as the ratings fell, fans called for changes and a cast shakeup.

Porsha Williams Guobadia is the first cast member to be announced for the upcoming season.

Production begins later this year.
