BET is bringing back College Hill with a celebrity edition starring NeNe Leakes, Ray J and Lamar Odom.
The network announced the names of the celebrity cast in a press release this week, with Big Freedia, Stacey Dash, DreamDoll, India Love and Slim Thug also joining the series.
The eight celebs will all live together and attend Texas Southern University, a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in Houston.
The group will experience college life in the eight-episode series and work toward earning credits to complete a special certification program.

“I am so elated to partner with Texas Southern University and be able to bring back this cherished franchise with an exciting new twist that I am sure will entertain and inspire new and old fans across the board,” Tracey Edmonds, creator of the original College Hill, said in a statement.
Added President of Texas Southern University, Dr. Lesia Crumpton-Young, “It is an absolute pleasure to welcome our new Tigers to campus, where they will be immersed in TSU history, academics and student life against the background of our beautiful, urban campus.”
College Hill: Celebrity Edition will air this summer.
The series is executive produced by Tracey Edmonds for Edmonds Entertainment, Sean Rankine and Mark Seliga for This Way Out Media, and Tiffany Lea Williams for BET.
The original College Hill premiered on BET in 2004 and aired until 2009. The reality series filmed at HBCUs including Southern University, Langston University, Virginia State University, Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse, and Georgia State University.
