Michael Ealy Questions Omar Epps in ‘The Devil You Know’ Trailer (Video)

Omar Epps and Michael Ealy square off in the trailer for the new Lionsgate crime thriller The Devil You Know.

Epps plays Marcus Cowans, who is trying to straighten himself out after being incarcerated. When he finds out his brother may have been involved in a shocking crime, Marcus grapples with the limits of brotherhood and loyalty. Ealy plays a suspicious detective who investigates Marcus and his family.

“I think you know more than you’re letting on,” Ealy’s character says in the trailer.

“You think it was me?” Epps responds.

Getting caught up in the investigation and with a street gang involved, Marcus strays away from both his close-knit parents and the new woman he is dating.

The cast also includes Will Catlett, Glynn Turman, Curtiss Cook, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Erica Tazel, Vaughn W. Hebron, Michael Beach, Keisha Epps, Ashley A. Williams and Theo Rossi.

The film is written and directed by Charles Murray.

Epps and Ealy are executive producers on the film in addition to Matthew Helderman, Luke Taylor, Tyler Gould and Sam Levine. Roy Scott MacFarland, Jackie J. Stone, Marc Danon, and Charles Murray are producers.

Lionsgate is releasing the movie from Command Films and Tetrad Studios, in association with Brooklyn Works Films and BondIt Media Capital.

The Devil You Know opens in theaters on April 1.
