LeToya Luckett and Angela “Blac Chyna” White will team up on screen in the Lifetime movie I Thought My Husband’s Wife Was Dead.
Based on the novel “Unmissing” by bestselling author Minka Kent, the original film stars Sherilyn Allen (Coroner, She Went Missing) as wife and expectant mother “Lola Winters,” who seems to have it all until a woman appears with a shocking story.
Former professional football player Jamall Johnson (Mahalia, How She Caught a Killer) plays Lola’s husband “Leo Winters.”

Lola’s seemingly perfect life takes a turn when “Tori” (Luckett) shows up at her home searching for her husband Leo. Tori is a ghost from the past after going missing for 5 years and being declared dead.
“Tensions rise and lives are turned upside down as Tori’s unexpected return leaves everyone questioning her motives and why she hasn’t gone to the police. Determined to start a new life, Tori demands that the Winters pay her hundreds of thousands of dollars, but before leaving town a bombshell revelation exposes even more dark and shocking secrets,” according to the official description.
Angela White, who previously had roles in The Black Hamptons and Vicious Affair, co-stars in the film.
LeToya Luckett, a Grammy-winning singer, is best known to fans as an original member of Destiny’s Child and for her roles in the TV series Greenleaf and Treme.
Troy Scott directs the film from a script adapted by Tamara T. Gregory. Stacy Mandelberg and Tamara T. Gregory are executive producers. Navid Soofi produces.
The film is produced for Lifetime by JPS Productions Inc.
I Thought My Husband’s Wife Was Dead premieres Saturday, Aug. 3 at 8/7c on Lifetime.
