Jimmy Kimmel says President Trump spent election season talking about other people’s rear ends, only to have voters hand him his own.

The Jimmy Kimmel Live! host celebrated the midterm election results Tuesday night after Democrats won control of the U.S. Senate and House, ending Republicans’ hold on both chambers of Congress.

During his opening monologue, Kimmel said he was “feeling pretty good” about the results. He mentioned pollsters predicted the blue wave, although he had another description for the Democratic victories.

“Not the kind of blue wave that pulls Nicolas Cage’s beach house into the ocean. And not just a wave, a blue tsunami,” he said.

The late-night host took aim at Trump’s campaign appearances, saying the president spent time talking about rapper Nicki Minaj and Republican Sen. Jon Husted’s backsides instead of the problems Americans wanted addressed.

“It seems to be after all the talk about Nicki Minaj’s a–, John Husted’s a–, the only a– on Trump’s mind tonight is the one that just got handed to him,” Kimmel quipped.

The comedian described Republican leaders as out of touch.

“They have no relation to what Americans are worried about. Americans are worried about corruption, inflation, climate change, war, wealth disparity, health care, housing, measles, and democracy itself,” he said.

Kimmel then listed what he described as MAGA’s misplaced priorities.

“Now, let’s take a look at the 10 subjects MAGA seems to be worried about — transgender, testosterone, black Helen of Troy, windmills, ballrooms, Mexicans, reflecting pools, racism against whites, Tylenol, Canada, and Canada,” he stated.

On the campaign trail, Trump encouraged Americans to vote as though he were on the ballot. Voters did just that and rejected his policies.

As Republican losses piled up Tuesday night, Trump changed his tune.

“I wasn’t on the Ballot and if I was, we would have won IN A LANDSLIDE! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” he wrote in a post on Truth Social Tuesday night.
