The critically acclaimed film A Thousand and One and the action thriller Black and Blue will debut on the Starz app this November.
Black and Blue will be available starting on Nov. 6.
The 2019 thriller is about rookie New Orleans cop Alicia West (Naomie Harris), who accidentally records her partners killing a drug dealer and the crooked cops set out to kill her before she can upload the footage and expose them.
The film also stars Tyrese Gibson, Frank Grillo, and Mike Colter.

A.V. Rockwell’s 2023 directorial debut, A Thousand and One, arrives on the Starz app on Nov. 19.
The drama is about a single mother (R&B artist Teyana Taylor) who kidnaps her six-year-old son from the foster care system. They set out to reclaim their sense of home, identity, and stability, in a rapidly changing New York City.
A Thousand and One won the top prize at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, as well as several other awards, including the African-American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) Award for Best Independent Film.
