Now that he’s retired from politics, former President Barack Obama may be eyeing a career as a rapper.
Okay, we’re joking. But the nation’s 44th president can definitely hustle and flow.
Obama showed off his rap skills on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at a campaign rally for Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz.
After being introduced by Eminem, the former president quoted the lyrics from “Lose Yourself” — one of the Detroit rapper’s biggest hits.
“I have done a lot of rallies, so I don’t usually get nervous. But I was feeling some kind of way following Eminem,” Obama told the crowd.
“I noticed my palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy, vomit on my sweater already, Mom’s spaghetti. I’m nervous, but on the surface I look calm and ready to drop bombs, but I keep on forgetting,” he rapped.

Obama also roasted Republican contender, former President Donald Trump.
“We do not need to see what an older looney Donald Trump looks like with no guard rails. America is ready to turn the page. We are ready for a better story. Michigan, we are ready for President Kamala Harris,” Obama said.
Earlier, Eminem told his hometown crowd to “get out and vote.”
“I’m here tonight for a couple of important reasons,” the rapper said. “As most of you know, the city of Detroit and the whole state of Michigan mean a lot to me, and going into this election, the spotlight is on us more than ever, and I think it’s important to use your voice, so I’m encouraging everybody to get out and vote, please.”
The Nov. 5 election is just under two weeks away, and as Obama told the crowd, there’s still time to register to vote.
