The original co-hosts of The View have reunited for a special on where it all began 25 years ago.

On Friday, ABC News released a promo for the 30-minute special which features the show’s first moderator, Meredith Vieira, and original panelists Star Jones, Debbie Matenopoulos and Joy Behar, who remains on the show.

Barbara Walters created the hit daytime talk show and invited the four women to join her at the “Hot Topics” table in 1997.

In a reunion clip obtained by People magazine, Behar said she was almost fired from the show in 2006 for accidentally leaking the news that Rosie O’Donnell would be joining panel.

“Phone rings. ‘Hello, Joy? It’s Barbara,'” Behar says in the promo. “I said, ‘Oh hi, Barbara!'”

Walters was not pleased and replied, “I just got a call from Entertainment Tonight and guess what they said? They said, ‘Oh, and Rosie O’Donnell’s coming on the show.’ And guess who told them?”

Behar said she jokingly blamed Vieira, but Walters knew the truth.

“‘No, you! Joy Behar did that. And I want you to know that I’m not renewing your contract,'” Behar recalled Walters telling her. “I said, ‘Barbara, it was just a mistake. It was an honest mistake. You know how I am when I’m shopping!'”

Walters was not done and told Behar she talked too much.

“‘You’re a loose cannon, and I’m not renewing your contract,'” Behar said Walters told her. The other other hosts appeared stunned by what they were hearing. Eventually, Behar was able to smooth things over with Walters.

The women will also look back on their famous exits from the show and share the key moments from behind the scenes.

Behind The Table: A View Reunion begins streaming Monday, June 20 on Hulu.
