With The Real Housewives of Atlanta in crisis, Shereé Whitfield says she’s willing to return to the Bravo series — if producers open the purse strings.
On Sunday, June 30, TMZ posted a short interview with the RHOA alum recorded outside a grocery store in Atlanta. As she pushed a shopping cart through the parking lot, the photographer peppered her with questions.
He started by asking her thoughts on fellow housewife Kenya Moore being cut from the reality show last week as season 16 was being filmed.
“I hate to see my girl Kenya go out like that. As an O.G., it’s kind of hard to sit back and watch the show kind of slowly sink the way it is. I’m not happy. I don’t like it,” Shereé said.

Still, she warned — don’t count Kenya out just yet because the former Miss USA is a fighter, suggesting there may be a long legal battle ahead.
“Kenya is a savage. I know she’s not going down easy or quick, so we just gotta sit back and wait and see what happens,” Shereé said.
The SHE by Shereé creator, who was one of the original cast members when RHOA debuted in 2008, is no stranger to the show’s casting changes. She’s left and returned a couple of times, most recently co-starring on season 15.
Asked if she’d consider returning, Shereé told the cameraman: “I always feel like an O.G.’s presence is kind of needed on the series, so I never say never. If the coin is right, I just might.”
So why exactly did she leave after season 15? “The coin wasn’t right,” she said.
As for Kenya, on June 25, multiple media outlets reported Bravo was parting ways with her for alleged bullying. Some outlets said the longtime housewife was fired, while others reported she was “taking a break” from season 16 with an option to return.

With Kenya out and Kandi Burruss recently saying goodbye, the show may need Shereé.
Kenya’s exit came shortly after she was “suspended indefinitely” for allegedly displaying posters with explicit images of new house Brittany Eady at the opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa in Atlanta.
In leaked audio from the June 6 opening, Moore seemingly called the new peach holder a sex worker.
“You a paid hoe. Brittany does escort,” Moore allegedly said. “There’s an IG that put her emails out on blast, she charges $1400 for an appointment. You not only a hoe, you a cheap whore.”
Michelle “ATLien” Brown, owner of the website Straight From the A, was outside the spa opening and recorded video of attendees leaving. On the June 7 episode of her podcast, Brown reported “guests and fellow housewives were shocked and appalled at Moore’s actions.”
Kenya and Brittany had apparently been at odds before. The Neighborhood Talk recently reported Brittany is alleged to have previously told Moore during a confrontation: “I have a gun for b–ches like you.”
Stay tuned for the next twist in the RHOA saga.
