New York has a new housewife. Art curator and model Racquel Chevremont is joining The Real Housewives of New York City for the show’s upcoming 15th season, Bravo recently announced.
Chevremont will star alongside returning housewives Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, and Brynn Whitfield.
Born in Brooklyn and raised in the Bronx, Chevremont has been an art curator for more than 20 years, and put together collections for shows including Severance, Empire, And Just Like That, and Law & Order: Organized Crime.

Prior to becoming a force in the art world, she joined Elite models in 1993. She was featured in ad campaigns for Benetton, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Fila, L’Oréal, Nivea, and graced international magazine covers.
Chevremont has two children. She co-founded The Josie Club, a Black queer social impact group, and says she’s a proud Black queer woman.
In a June 27 interview with GLAAD, Chevremont called her casting on RHONY “exciting.”
“I honestly didn’t think they would be interested in me in the end because they already had a queer woman. I wasn’t sure if they were going to want two queer women on a franchise that has historically been about married heterosexual women,” she said. “I think it was a bold decision and honestly a more authentic representation of NYC.”
A premiere date for season 15 of RHONY will be announced later.
The reality series is produced by Shed Media with Lisa Shannon, Lauren Volonakis, and Anne Swan serving as executive producers. Andy Cohen also executive produces. Eric Fuller and Alfonso Rosales co-executive produce.
