Prime Video’s upcoming series Cross starring Aldis Hodge as Alex Cross will premiere globally on the streaming service this fall.

Hodge revealed the Nov. 14 premiere date at the 30th Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans on Saturday.

The key art for the series was also posted across Prime Video’s social media accounts over the weekend.

“Shhh. He’s doing his thing. #CrossOnPrime arrives November 14,” Prime Video shared on its Instagram account, along with an image of the series artwork featuring Hodge in a detective jacket while standing in front of the U.S. Capitol with the words “Cross” written on yellow crime scene tape.

The series also stars Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford, and Ryan Eggold.

As previously reported, the show is based on the best-selling crime and mystery novels from James Patterson about a Metropolitan Police Department detective and forensic psychologist who works to thwart threats to both the city of Washington D.C. and his family.

Cross is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Paramount Television Studios and Skydance Television.

The project from creator and writer Ben Watkins was ordered straight to series, with a second season already greenlit.

In the teaser trailer released in May, Alex Cross is portrayed as a widowed father to his kids and as lead investigator for Metro P.D.’s cases.

In the final scene from the trailer, a suspect sits in a chair during an interview session and tells Cross, “You’re not getting a confession—you’re not in my head.”

Cross simply replies: “Oh, I’m definitely living rent-free” while smiling.
