Denise Richards and NeNe Leakes will go from starring on Real Housewives franchises to playing housewives in the Lifetime movie, Hunting Housewives.
The upcoming thriller follows four women forced to work together to make it back to their families after a terrifying ordeal.
Richards (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills) and Leakes (The Real Housewives of Atlanta) are joined in the cast by professional dancer Kym Johnson Herjavec (Dancing With the Stars), and media personality Melyssa Ford (“The Joe Budden Podcast”), Lifetime said in a press release Thursday.

Per Lifetime, the film follows four friends — Karla Dodds (Denise Richards), Rebel Carron-Whitman (NeNe Leakes), Joli Symons (Kym Johnson Herjavec) and Sharell Bouvier (Melyssa Ford), who jet off on a girls trip to a spa retreat away from their busy lives. But the weekend getaway takes a horrifying turn, when the plane the women are on crashes in the wilderness.
With no knowledge of basic survival, the four housewives are forced to use their wits if they want to get home safely. Making matters worse, the women realize they’re not alone and are being hunted.
The movie is produced by Brain Power Studio in association with Nicely Entertainment for Lifetime. Beth Stevenson, Nancy Yeaman, Stan Hum and Vanessa Shapiro executive produce. Paula Tiberius wrote the script and Marco Deufemia directs.
Hunting Housewives is scheduled to premiere Saturday, March 9 at 8p/7c on Lifetime.
