Porsha Williams Lands Role in Lifetime Thriller ‘Single Black Female 3’

Porsha Williams has signed on for a role in the upcoming Lifetime thriller Single Black Female 3: The Final Chapter.

The movie marks the final installment of the network’s popular Single Black Female franchise starring Amber Riley, Raven Goodwin and K. Michelle.

Williams, who is best known to fans as a peach holder on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, joins the three returning cast members in the new role of Detective Ebony Williams.

In this latest installment, Monica (Raven Goodwin) tries to move on after being wrongfully convicted of murder. While she no longer faces charges, reclaiming her life and her career are much more difficult than she expected.

K. Michelle reprises her role as Monica’s best friend Bebe.

Meanwhile, Simone (Amber Riley) is now a fugitive and left her daughter Joy behind in Houston when she fled to a convent in Mexico.

“When a terrifying nightmare shakes her to the core, Simone becomes convinced Joy is in danger and returns to Houston, for a final reckoning between the estranged half-sisters,” according to the official description.

Kennedy Chanel joins the cast as Simone’s daughter Joy.

The first film in the franchise was titled Single Black Female and debuted on Lifetime in 2022. It was followed by Single Black Female 2: Simone’s Revenge in 2024.

Single Black Female 3: The Final Chapter premieres Saturday, March 22 at 8p/7c.

The movie is produced by Swirl Films for Lifetime. Raven Goodwin, Karen Peterkin, Monique Nash, Korin Williams, Eric Tomosunas and Ty Walker executive produce. Keena Ferguson directs from the script written by Sa’Rah L. Jones and Tessa Scott.
