Netflix has released the explosive trailer for part 2 of the first season of Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black.
Part 2 as per the official description will see the the Bellaires – the dysfunctional family behind a cosmetic empire and an underground trafficking ring — face a “reckoning from Kimmie (Taylor Polidore Williams).”
“They have my sister,” Kimmie says in the video. After her younger sister Sylvie (Bailey Tippen) gets kidnapped, Kimmie “becomes an unstoppable force of vengeance.”
“I am not letting them do to her what they did to me,” says a vengeful Kimmie.

The cast of the drama also includes Crystle Stewart, Amber Reign Smith, Ricco Ross, Debbi Morgan, Richard Lawson, Steven G. Norfleet, Julian Horton, and Terrell Carter.
“I don’t think anybody’s going to be able to figure out where it’s going and how that rise of power happens with Kimmie,” Tyler Perry said about the upcoming episodes in an interview with Netflix blog Tudum. “It’s going to be mind-blowing for people. Like, ‘Wait a minute, how does she get into power?’”
Beauty in Black is the first series to come out of Perry’s partnership with Netflix. Part 1 premiered on Netflix in October 2024.
Perry writes, directs and produces the series. Along with Perry, Angi Bones and Tony Strickland are also producers for Tyler Perry Studios.
Beauty in Black season 1 part 2 premieres March 6 on Netflix.
