It’s a wrap for the new Lee Daniels exorcism film The Deliverance.
Daniels shared a picture from the set of himself with Oscar-winning actress Mo’Nique, who co-stars in the Netflix thriller with Tasha Smith, Caleb McLaughlin, Rob Morgan, Omar Epps and Oscar-nominated actresses Andra Day and Glenn Close.
Daniels captioned his Instagram post: “It’s a wrap for @therealmoworldwide for #TheDeliverance. Our journey continues…”

Mo’Nique also celebrated the end of the shoot by posting the same photo with the caption: “We Back!!!! I love us 4real. It’s a wrap for me on The Deliverance.”
The star-studded film, which was previously titled Demon House, centers on an Indiana family that experiences demonic occurrences and believes their house is a portal to hell.
The movie is based on the true story of Indiana woman Latoya Ammons, who along with her three children said they were possessed by demons leading to a case involving the Gary Police Department and the Department of Child Services.

Daniels directed Mo’Nique to an Oscar in the 2009 film Precious. After a decade-long feud over the promotional campaign for the film, the two recently exorcised their demons.
But the actress and comedian previously accused Daniels of blacklisting her in the entertainment industry, after she refused to take part in awards season events promoting Precious.
Years later, in a 2018 interview with TMZ, Daniels insisted he didn’t torpedo Mo’Nique’s Hollywood career, that she did it herself by being difficult. “She’s out of pocket. She’s really wrong,” he said in the interview.
But in April of this year, Daniels took to Instagram to say the two had set aside their differences. He also attended one of Mo’Nique’s standup shows and went on stage to say, “I am so sorry for hurting you in any way that I did.”
Demons and a portal to Hell?! Count me out! An observant Christian should not mess with anything Satanic!
Hopefully it is true to form and not exaggerated. Even for Christians it helps to be aware of some things.
Take earplugs to help control what you would hear.
Oh get a grip, you sound ridiculous…
Does anyone really care about this silliness. Even the headline is boring to tears.
Waiting to hear the usual ballyhoo that the set was haunted and visited by demonic spirits.
And you are still waiting…
