Jonathan Majors appeared remotely Tuesday for a court hearing as he faces charges for allegedly assaulting and harassing his ex-girlfriend.
During the brief New York Criminal Court hearing, the judge reminded the Creed III star to follow the full temporary order of protection, issued last month, and avoid contact with the alleged victim or face consequences, according to published reports.
The only time the actor spoke was to respond to the judge’s orders, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office also offered more details about the alleged assault during the hearing.
The initial criminal complaint said the woman was struck “about the face with an open hand, causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear.” The updated complaint says the woman also sustained injuries to an arm, and alleges she was pushed into a vehicle by Majors.
The Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania actor was arrested on March 25 following a “domestic dispute” with the 30-year-old accuser, the NYPD said.
He is charged with multiple misdemeanor counts — including assault in the third degree, three counts of attempted assault in the third degree, one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, and one count of harassment in the second degree.
Majors has denied the allegations. His attorney Priya Chaudhry previously said the actor did “nothing wrong,” and alleged that he was assaulted by the accuser during the dispute.

After Tuesday’s hearing, Chaudhry said prosecutors were given proof the accuser is “lying,” yet they are continuing a “witch hunt” against Majors.
“We have provided the District Attorney with irrefutable evidence that the woman is lying, including video proof showing nothing happened, especially not where she claimed,” Chaudhry said in a statement to Urban Hollywood 411. “We did this with the explicit promise from the DA that they would not ‘fix’ their case and change it as we proved the woman is lying.”
Chaudhry added that the district attorney’s office is pursuing a case based on “lies.”
“Yet this false case continues, the woman’s claimed location shifts, and her story morphs. This is a witch hunt against Jonathan Majors, driven by baseless claims,” the attorney stated.
Chaudhry said the defense has obtained “more video evidence” proving Majors’ innocence, but they are “hesitant to share it, for fear the DA will tip the woman off to change her story again.”
The attorney also alleged race is a factor in the case because Majors is Black.
“The criminal justice system is saturated with explicit and implicit bias. When Mr. Majors showed a White police officer the injuries the woman caused him, the White officer got in Mr. Majors’ face and taunted him, saying that if the officer were to slap Mr. Majors, the officer wouldn’t break his finger,” the attorney said.
“None of the White officers present investigated the assault of Mr. Majors. Worse, the District Attorney has not indicated any intention to pursue charges against the woman, or even investigate the truth,” the statement continued. “This glaring double standard between the treatment of Jonathan Majors, a Black man weighing 200 lbs, and his accuser, highlights the racial bias that permeates the criminal justice system.”
Majors is scheduled to return to court on June 13.
The actor is set to star as Marvel villain Kang the Conqueror in the upcoming film Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
He’s also preparing to play former Chicago Bulls star Dennis Rodman in the film 48 Hours in Vegas, and was recently cast in Da Understudy, a Spike Lee movie about “life imitating art when the understudy of a Broadway production finds a role he’s willing to kill for.”
