Jennifer Lopez is preparing to release her first studio album in a decade, along with a companion film.
In an Instagram post on Monday, the singer and actress announced the release date for the LP This Is Me… Now, which will be accompanied by an Amazon movie by the same name.
Both projects are slated for release on Feb. 16, 2024.
Along with the announcement, Amazon unveiled the trailer for This Is Me… Now: The Film.
“When I was a little girl, when someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, my answer was always ‘in love,'” Lopez says in the video.

Inspired by her new music, the film weaves the songs into a biography for the screen.
The official description says the movie is “an intimate, fantastical and narrative-driven reflection of her personal journey of self-healing and self-love.”
The title of the film and the album are a new take on This Is Me… Then, Lopez’s third studio album released in November 2002.
The entertainer’s relationship with Ben Affleck was the main inspiration for the album. Now 20 years later, the two are married and worked together on the new film.
The movie is directed by Dave Meyers from a script written by Lopez, Affleck, and Matt Walton.
Executive producers include Jennifer Lopez, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Benny Medina and Courtney Baxter on behalf of Nuyorican Productions. The movie is produced by Nathan Scherrer.
This Is Me… Now: The Film will be released on Prime Video.
