Jackée Harry and Vivica A. Fox will star in the upcoming Lifetime movie A Christmas Intern.
The film centers on Cecilia (Harry), who discovers retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. She decides to make a surprise visit to her daughter Alexis (Ciarra Carter), who created and runs online gift giving business “Cyber Santa.”
Cecilia becomes an intern at the company and bonds with her daughter as the two learn the importance of family during the holiday season.
Doug Rogers, Jasmine Avialotis and Michael Paré also star.
Vivica A. Fox executive produces the film, which is produced by Hybrid. David DeCoteau directs from a script written by Adam Rockoff. The movie will feature an original song by Jackée Harry.

A Christmas Intern is part of this year’s “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” programming slate. Kicking off on Saturday, Nov. 18, the slate includes 12 new movies, which will air every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas.
Other movies in the slate include Tia Mowry and Buddy Valastro in Yes, Chef! Christmas with Luke Humphrey.
Jana Kramer, Adam Senn and Max Ehrich star in A Cowboy Christmas Romance, written by Sarah Drew.
Tatyana Ali and Jesse Kove star in The Holiday Proposal Plan.
Teri Hatcher is featured in Christmas at the Chalet.
These movies join Ladies of the ‘80s: A Divas Christmas, starring Loni Anderson, Morgan Fairchild, Linda Gray, Donna Mills, and Nicollette Sheridan.
