A week after Hulu announced Halle Berry was joining the cast of legal drama All’s Fair, the Oscar-winning actress has exited the project.
Berry had been set to co-star in the upcoming series from Ryan Murphy, alongside Glenn Close and Kim Kardashian.
On July 8, several media outlets reported Berry and Oscar-nominated actress Close had signed on for roles in the series about an all-female law firm in Los Angeles.
Kardashian was already attached to the project as a divorce lawyer leading the firm. She previously had a role on season 12 of Murphy’s American Horror Story.

Kardashian, Berry and Close all had executive producer credits on All’s Fair alongside Murphy — who is also writing and directing the series under his new overall deal with Disney.
Then on July 15, Variety reported Berry was no longer attached to the project.
The outlet said the actress dropped out of the series “due to a scheduling conflict.” Reps for Berry, Hulu, and 20th Television declined to comment.
Berry will next co-star in Netflix thriller The Union opposite Mark Wahlberg.
The actress plays a super spy reuniting with her former high school sweetheart after 25 years, when she’s tasked with getting back a top secret list that was stolen and needs help from a regular guy, who won’t draw attention.
The Union premieres Aug. 16 on Netflix.
