Halle Berry is looking for a “nobody” who can blend in, and Mark Wahlberg fits the bill in the trailer for comedic spy thriller, The Union.

Netflix released the video this week. It shows Berry as super spy “Roxanne” reuniting with her former high school sweetheart “Mike” after 25 years.

Now a construction worker in his native New Jersey, Mike thinks there’s romance in the air when he sees Roxanne again. But she has other plans; leaves him incapacitated and whisks him away to Europe for a secret mission.

“Welcome to London,” she says. A confused Mike asks, “What the hell?”

Roxanne works for a government agency called “The Union” and she’s been tasked with getting back a top secret list that was stolen.

“The Union does the dirty work for the CIA and FBI,” Berry said in statement. “When you really need the job done, you call in this group of people. They’re blue-collar workers, everyday average people who get plucked by The Union to be trained to shoot and do combat intelligence and tactical weaponry.”

Wahlberg, who’s also a producer on the film added: “We always felt Roxanne had to be the love of this guy’s life. He stayed where he was because he was hoping that she would actually come back into his life somehow.”

The cast also includes Mike Colter, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jessica De Gouw, Alice Lee, Jackie Earle Haley, and J.K. Simmons.

The film is directed by Julian Farino from a screenplay by Joe Barton and David Guggenheim. In addition to Wahlberg, producers include Stephen Levinson and Jeff Waxman.

The Union premieres Aug. 16 on Netflix.
