Chris Rock’s life story is returning to television, though this time it’s going to be animated.
Comedy Central revealed on Aug. 26 that its new adult animated series, Everybody Still Hates Chris, will premiere next month.
The “reimagined series” is based on the original UPN/CW comedy Everybody Hates Chris, which ran for four seasons from 2005 to 2009.

The network also shared a first-look photo from the new series.

Former Disney and Nickelodeon star Tim Johnson Jr. will be voicing Young Chris, while Deliah’s Ozioma Akagha will voice Rock’s little sister and the baby of the family Tonya.
Former Henry Danger star Terrence Little Gardenhigh will voice Rock’s “cooler” brother Drew and Rock’s “only friend in school” Greg is voiced by Kung Fu Panda’s Gunnar Sizemore.
