Halle Berry is expressing gratitude for the success of her new action comedy, The Union.

The Oscar-winning actress took to X (previously Twitter) to thank fans for making The Union the No. 1 film on Netflix in the U.S., since it was released on Aug. 16.

“The Union is the No. 1 movie on @netflix for a second weekend. I’m seeing all the fan love and you guys never fail to make me feel so so grateful, sending all the love (and kisses) right back,” wrote Berry.

The No. 2 film on the streamer’s chart was the 2017 Sony Pictures release The Emoji Movie; followed by the 2018 Kevin Hart comedy Night School; the 2023 Dreamworks film Trolls Band Together; and 2012’s The Lorax.

In The Union, Berry portrays a spy who recruits her old high school sweetheart — played by Mark Wahlberg — for an espionage mission.

The film also stars J.K. Simmons, Lorraine Bracco, Dana Delany, Mike Colter, and Jackie Earle Haley.

Berry said in a previous statement about the film, “The Union does the dirty work for the CIA and FBI… When you really need the job done, you call in this group of people.”

The spy comedy is directed by Julian Farino from a screenplay by Joe Barton and David Guggenheim. In addition to Wahlberg, producers include Stephen Levinson and Jeff Waxman.
