- BET Her has unveiled details on a new music interview and performance show titled BET Her Live! Hosted by Yo-Yo.
Each 30-minute episode will feature veteran rapper Yo-Yo welcoming artists to share personal stories with the audience through conversation and song, the network said in a press release.
In honor of the 50th anniversary of hip hop, the show will welcome Da Brat, MC Lyte, Lil’ Mo, and 702.

According to the official description, R&B singer Lil’ Mo will discuss balancing her career with having five children. Rapper Da Brat will detail her infertility challenges and becoming a new mom. The members of R&B group 702 will open up about surviving tragedy, and hip-hop legend MC Lyte will talk about her journey to becoming a media mogul.
Smalls Paradise Productions LLC produced the show, which was taped in Las Vegas.
BET Her Live! Hosted by Yo-Yo is set to premiere on Friday, Aug. 11, at 9 PM ET/PT on BET Her.
