Kevin Hart has teamed up with BET for a Comic View reboot featuring veteran comics Mike Epps, Tommy Davidson and newcomer Tip “T.I.” Harris.

The revival was filmed over the weekend during Hart’s star-studded 44th birthday celebration in Las Vegas.

In Living Color alum Tommy Davidson was among the performers taking the stage and shared details in a tweet on July 9.

“Thank you @KevinHart4real for having me headline tonight’s #ComicView revive show with soon-to-be announced @BET air date,” Davidson wrote on Twitter.

Rapper T.I., who ventured into comedy last year, also performed according to BET.com. The outlet said comedian and actor Mike Epps hosted the event, which included appearances by D.C. Young Fly, Bresha Webb, and Taccara Williams.

Comic View aired on BET from 1992 to 2008, and returned from 2012 to 2014. The stand-up comedy franchise offered a national platform to up-and-coming comics and was hosted by Kevin Hart, D.L. Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer, Sommore, Don “D.C.” Curry, Rickey Smiley, Sheryl Underwood and other familiar faces.

Hart emceed Comic View in 2008 and recently told Variety he’s looking forward to bringing the show back.

“I’m thrilled to partner with BET for the return of Comic View as part of Hartbeat Weekend making this can’t-miss celebration of comedy, music and culture,” he said in a statement to the outlet. “Having hosted Comic View in the past, I understand first-hand the incredible platform this franchise offers for comedians to showcase their talents on a national stage and I’m excited to continue that tradition in Las Vegas.”

A premiere date for the Comic View reboot will be announced later.
