‘Bel-Air’ Season 3 Trailer Reveals Return of ‘Fresh Prince’ Veteran Joseph Marcell

Geoffrey is back. Joseph Marcell, who played beloved butler Geoffrey on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, will make a guest appearance on the upcoming third season of Peacock’s Bel-Air, the recently released trailer shows.

“There’s always gonna be a price, that’s on you,” Marcell warns the new generation.

With school out, Will (Jabari Banks) is doing Bel-Air his way in the new season.

“Being a part of the Banks family has given him a new perspective — it isn’t just about wealth, it means that Will now has options to lean into other things that excite him and has the privilege to dream bigger,” reads the official synopsis.

The cast also includes Adrian Holmes as Phillip Banks, Cassandra Freeman as Vivian Banks, Olly Sholotan as Carlton Banks, Coco Jones as Hilary Banks, Akira Akbar as Ashley Banks, Jimmy Akingbola as Geoffrey, Jordan L. Jones as Jazz, and Simone Joy Jones as Lisa.

In season 3, Carlton desperately tries to leave his life of addiction behind and rebuild his damaged reputation, after sharing last season that he is addicted to drugs.

Pressure at work and home poses challenges for Viv and Phil.

Hilary’s romantic journey with LaMarcus will face new challenges.

And Ashley’s views on romance will start to blossom as she comes of age the summer before she starts high school.

Inspired by Morgan Cooper’s viral trailer reimagining The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the Peacock series is set in modern-day Los Angeles.

The drama offers a fresh take on Will’s complicated journey from the streets of West Philadelphia to the gated mansions of Bel-Air, California.

The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, and Westbrook Studios, a division of Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith’s media company Westbrook Inc.

Executive producers include Will Smith, Terence Carter, James Lassiter, Miguel Melendez, Benny Medina, Quincy Jones, Andy and Susan Borowitz, Janeika James, Jasheika James, and Andy Reaser.

Bel-Air Season 3 premieres with three episodes on Thursday, Aug. 15 and new episodes will stream weekly.
