The ladies of And Just Like That will return for another season of friendship, romance, and high fashion.

Max, formerly HBO Max, announced Tuesday the series has been renewed for a third season.

The Sex and the City spinoff follows original franchise stars Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte (Kristin Davis), and Miranda (Cynthia Nixon).

The season 2 cast also includes Nicole Ari Parker, Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Karen Pittman, Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Christopher Jackson, Niall Cunningham, Cathy Ang, and Alexa Swinton.

Executive producer Michael Patrick King said in a statement he is “thrilled to spend more time in the Sex And The City universe telling new stories about the lives of these relatable and aspirational characters played by these amazing actors.”

Sarah Aubrey, head of original content at Max, added And Just Like That is the “most-watched returning Max original to date.”

News of the renewal comes ahead of the season 2 finale, which will feature a long-awaited cameo by SATC fan-favorite Kim Cattrall as Samantha.

Fans has been clamoring on social media for Cattrall to make an appearance on AJLT, although the actress previously said she had no interest in returning to the franchise.

Viewers have also been vocal about the writing on AJLT, with some saying it strays too far from the original series.

Many have panned the storyline involving Miranda’s love interest, queer nonbinary podcaster and comedian Che Diaz, played by Sara Ramírez.

While others welcomed the return of Carrie’s former flame Aidan (John Corbett), following the death of her husband Mr. Big (Chris Noth), they complained that Carrie quickly cast her fond memories of Big aside.

In addition to Michael Patrick King, executive producers on AJLT include John Melfi, Julie Rottenberg, Elisa Zuritsky, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon. Sex and the City was created by Darren Star and based on the book “Sex and the City” by Candace Bushnell.

We’ll have to find out what happens with Carrie, Aidan, Miranda, Che and the rest of the gang, when the season 2 finale of And Just Like That premieres Thursday, Aug. 24 on Max.
