Power built a loyal following and launched a universe of spinoffs. Now four of the Starz crime dramas are getting a second life on an even bigger platform.
Netflix and executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson just announced the news — all four series are coming to the global streaming giant this November.
Naturally, with 50 Cent being the king of the social media flex, he included a humble brag telling fans he’d inked another deal.
“New deal alert,” the hip-hop mogul wrote on X along with a red alert emoji. “Beginning this November, all four Power series — original Power, Ghost, Raising Kanan and Force — will launch on Netflix internationally. All Power series will continue to stream on Starz in the U.S.”

Power debuted in 2014 and ran for six seasons. The hit drama series followed James “Ghost” St. Patrick — a wealthy New York nightclub owner living a double life as a drug kingpin.
Omari Hardwick led the cast as the brash Ghost. Naturi Naughton, Lela Loren, Joseph Sikora, Michael Rainey Jr., Rotimi, Shane Johnson, Jerry Ferrara, 50 Cent, La La Anthony, J.R. Ramirez, and Larenz Tate also starred.
The series came from creator Courtney A. Kemp, whose new show Nemesis just debuted to strong viewership numbers and was renewed for a second season on Netflix.
The original Power was followed by the spinoffs Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Power Book IV: Force. Our personal favorite was Power Book II: Ghost, led by Michael Rainey Jr.
Even more spinoffs are in the works with Power: Legacy and Power: Origins coming to Starz.
Prequel series Power: Origins follows the origin stories of fan favorite characters Ghost, Tommy and Kanan as ambitious young entrepreneurs determined to make their mark on the streets of New York City. The series is coming soon and the first trailer was released earlier this month. The drama stars Spence Moore as James “Ghost” St. Patrick, Charlie Mann as “Tommy Egan,” and MeKai Curtis who returns as “Kanan Stark.”
Power: Legacy was recently greenlit with Joseph Sikora and Michael Rainey Jr. set to reprise their roles. Creator Sascha Penn co-wrote the pilot with Courtney A. Kemp.
