The Braxtons will return to WE tv and AllBlk this fall for a second season of family drama.

WE tv made the announcement on March 11, saying production is already underway on season 2 of the family reality series, and the new episodes will follow Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar and Ms. Evelyn Braxton reuniting for “more laughs, love and healing.”

The first season debuted on Aug. 9, 2024, nearly four years after Braxton Family Values ended its seven-season run on WE tv in December 2020.

“The Braxtons helped create a new genre by being one of the first families to open up their lives and authentic selves to the world on television, and they’re still doing it,” said Brett Dismuke, head of content for WE tv and AllBlk.

“Viewers and fans were thrilled to see Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar and Ms. Evelyn Braxton back on their screens in an elevated, docuseries format – and demanded more,” Dismuke added. “We are delighted to see the ladies return for more and thankful that they trust We TV to, once again, tell their story with the utmost care, respect and integrity.”

The upcoming season will show the Braxton sisters spending time together and celebrating Towanda’s wedding.

“As the entire family gathers for the pending nuptials, the sisters also continue to work on healing their relationships and address unresolved issues, which is complicated as they continue processing the intense grief from the passing of their sister, Traci,” according to the official description.

Executive producers on The Braxtons are Tara Long, Ri-Karlo Handy, Oji Singletary and Michelle Kongkasuwan for Blink49 Studios and Datari Turner.

Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar and Evelyn Braxton also serve as executive producers alongside Angela Molloy for We TV.

A premiere date for season 2 will be announced later.
