Wendy Williams and Blac Chyna are shown bonding in a clip from the upcoming Lifetime documentary series, Where is Wendy Williams?, premiering this weekend.

Blac Chyna, who goes by Angela White after announcing in 2023 that she turned to Christianity and reversed her cosmetic surgery procedures, sits with Williams (shown with her natural hair) and explains how she’s been “recently changing” her life “since they last spoke.”

“You’ve always been honest with me and put me in my place, in the most motherly, kind way. That’s why I love you so much. ‘Cause even when I was going through my darkest times, you never used that against me,” White says while seated across from the former daytime talk show host.

White then tells the 59-year-old media mogul she’ll be coming “back and forth from New York,” and plans to visit her more often.

Sadly, Williams appears slightly confused and stares blankly at White.

Williams then responds to White’s heartfelt comments by telling her, “Well, my real name is Wendy Hunter. And I’m divorced. He’s got no money.”

White patiently nods her head and says, “I love you.”

Williams responds with “So do I” as White gives her a hug.

This type of motherly love is a safe haven for White, who has had a strained relationship with her own mother, Tokyo Toni, for several years.

Lifetime released the clip on Thursday, Feb. 22, the same day Williams’ “care team” announced she has dementia.

In a statement, the media mogul’s caregivers said she received the diagnosis last year.

“In 2023, after undergoing a battery of medical tests, Wendy was officially diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Aphasia, a condition affecting language and communication abilities, and frontotemporal dementia, a progressive disorder impacting behavior and cognitive functions, have already presented significant hurdles in Wendy’s life,” the statement said.

The upcoming Lifetime docuseries will show Williams’ health and financial struggles, since her popular daytime talk show was canceled in 2022.

The four and a half hour, two-night documentary event, Where is Wendy Williams? debuts Saturday, Feb. 24 and 25 at 8pm ET/PT on Lifetime.
