TV One’s autobiographical docuseries Uncensored is coming back next month to share the pivotal life moments of an all-new lineup of celebrities.

The series features intimate interviews with athletes, musicians and Hollywood stars.

The new season will include episodes on Teddy Riley, Marsha Ambrosius, Donnie McClurkin, Kem, Remy Ma, Mona Scott Young, Lisa Leslie, and Jaleel White.

Riley’s episode will be first up for the new season, airing on March 21. In a new trailer, the singer-songwriter discusses why he left musical group Guy in the early 1990s.

“The reason I quit the group was because I lost my best friend, and I couldn’t take the pressure,” Riley said.

The “Teddy’s Jam” writer made headlines last year when he appeared in an Instagram Live ‘Verzuz” battle with Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds that was watched by over half a million fans at the time.

McClurkin will share his story in the third episode of the eight-episode season.

The Gospel music legend makes reference to his faith in the trailer, saying: “God had to remind me—people don’t appreciate you until you become real. Until you become transparent.”

The “Stand” singer is very much real and alive after shutting down false rumors last year that he had a life threatening illness.

McClurkin most recently appeared at the 2020 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration last year along with gospel icons Yolanda Adams and Marvin Sapp.

Uncensored is produced for TV One by executive producers Eric Tomosunas, Keith Neal, James Seppelfrick and Paul Hall; co-executive producer Jay Allen, and producer Nikki Byles of Swirl Films.
