The Snowfall saga ends Wednesday night with season 6, episode 10.
The teaser trailer for the episode shows Franklin (Damson Idris) losing control and threatening to “tear it all down.”
The finale episode is titled “The Struggle,” and brings an explosive conclusion to the crime drama after six years.
The sixth and final season of Snowfall premiered on Feb. 22, and civil war is destroying the Saint family.
Per the official description, Franklin (Damson Idris) was forced to rob his Aunt Louie (Angela Lewis) and Uncle Jerome (Amin Joseph) after being wiped out by former CIA officer Teddy McDonald (Carter Hudson). Meanwhile, Louie has taken over Franklin’s role as Teddy’s sole buyer, undercutting her nephew and creating a competing empire in the process. Franklin faces losing everyone he loves and everything he’s built. The question is who will survive.
Earlier this month, Deadline reported there’s a spinoff in the works centered on Gail Bean in her role as Wanda. The plan is for the spinoff to continue the events from the series as South Central Los Angeles goes from the crack era to gangster rap in the 1990s, amid the growing presence of the Bloods and Crips street gangs.
Snowfall premiered in 2017, and chronicled how the crack cocaine epidemic began, the destruction it caused in South Central, and how an off-the-books CIA operation contributed to the crisis.
The series was created by John Singleton, Eric Amadio and Dave Andron. Damson Idris also serves as a producer. Dave Andron is showrunner.
The final episode airs Wednesday, April 19 at 10:00 p.m. ET on FX.
