It seems just about everyone watched the viral Katt Williams interview on Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, including the cast of Saturday Night Live.

The SNL comics offered their take on the interview, with Devon Walker playing Sharpe and Ego Nwodim turning in a pitch-perfect impression of Williams.

The sketch began with a voiceover telling the audience: “With over 50 million views, it was the conversation that broke the internet.”

Then the SNL comedians unleashed what they called an eight-hour “extended cut” of the podcast interview. They began by mocking Williams for saying he went on “Club Shay Shay” to share the “truth” about Hollywood.

“Three things are true about me. I am 5’3, I have never told a lie, and I am 6’3,” said female comic Nwodim as Williams.

Walker rolled his eyes, knowing there’s no way the diminutive comic is 6’3.

Nwodim went on to jab some of the same comics Williams roasted in his nearly three-hour interview.

“Look, Hollywood created Kevin Hart. Everybody knows that Kevin Hart was made in the same factory where they make Teddy Grahams,” she said.

“That can’t be true,” a skeptical Walker responded.

“Then why the hell he smell like cinnamon?” Nwodim asked.

Nwodim’s version of Williams also accused former President Barack Obama of stealing his “Yes We Can” slogan.

“Before me he was saying, ‘Probably. Probably. I think we might,’” Nwodim insisted.

She also took swipes at Avatar director James Cameron, Barbie filmmaker Greta Gerwig, and climate activist Greta Thunberg.

At one point, Nwodim got philosophical as she sat next to a chalkboard mapping out an “existential crisis” in Hollywood.

“Steve Harvey cannot read,” she said. “The man is looking at the teleprompter and just guessing.”

On the real “Club Shay Shay” interview — which now has over 53 million views —  Williams called out comics he deemed “low-brow,” including Rickey Smiley, Cedric the Entertainer, and Steve Harvey.

Williams said he’d watched the comedians tell “lies” when they were interviewed by Sharpe and he was there to set the record straight.

He saved some of his most biting comments for Steve Harvey, by calling the Family Feud host a failed movie star and a “country bumpkin.”
