Dave Chappelle resurrected some of his iconic Chappelle’s Show characters for a Saturday Night Live parody of HBO’s House of the Dragon.
The comedian, who served as this weekend’s SNL host, introduced the sketch by asking the studio audience if they were watching the Game of Thrones prequel.
“I am the biggest Game of Thrones fan, I love their new show. And I got to tell you, I love that they’re including Black characters,” he said. “But to be honest, the Black characters, they take me out of it a little bit. It’s that blond hair and old-timey accents. It’s a little jarring, like, where are these people from?”

He jokingly told the audience SNL had gotten a sneak peek of the second season of House of the Dragon, and them tossed to a pre-taped parody featuring Chappelle’s Show characters.
Once the video started, Kenan Thompson introduced the characters as “new allies” from far away lands.

In walked Chappelle as the pimp from “The Player Haters Ball.” He was joined by original Chappelle’s Show cast member Donnell Rawlings and Ice-T, who reprised their characters from the Comedy Central show.
Next up — drug addict Tyrone Biggums, who brought along his crack pipe.
“I came here for some Dragon rocks,” Tyrone said.
“You mind if I get a light?” he asked in his squeaky voice, prompting a dragon to blow fire and light up his pipe.
Chappelle also brought back his Rick James impression. “I’m one of the baddest motherf–ers Westeros has ever seen,” he boasted.
The sketch ended with the characters riding off on dragons.
