Saturday Night Live returns with three back-to-back episodes in April and a roster of celebrity hosts, NBC announced Monday.
Actor and comedian Jerrod Carmichael will make his SNL hosting debut on April 2. Carmichael’s new HBO special, Jerrod Carmichael: Rothaniel drops the day before he goes live from Studio 8H.
Georgia rapper Gunna will serve as Carmichael’s musical guest on SNL. The Grammy Award-nominated artist’s latest album, “DS4Ever,” debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart in January.

Actor Jake Gyllenhaal will handle hosting duties for the second time on April 9. The Ambulance star previously hosted the show in 2007.
His musical guest for the new episode is Camila Cabello, in her second time performing on the series. The Grammy-nominated artist’s new album, “Familia,” will be released April 8.
The following week, Lizzo does double duty as host and musical guest for the April 16th episode. This marks her second time on the SNL stage as a performer, but it will be her first time as host. The Grammy winner stars in the competition series Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, premiering March 25 on Amazon Prime Video.
Saturday Night Live was the #1 entertainment program last season in the 18-49 demo and won eight Emmy Awards last year, including Outstanding Variety Sketch Series.

The late-night sketch series, from creator and executive producer Lorne Michaels, is produced in association with Broadway Video.
SNL airs live Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT on NBC. The network will stream the remainder of the season live on Peacock.
