Kerry Washington and Omar Sy are spies on the run in the trailer for the upcoming film Shadow Force.
Lionsgate released the action-packed trailer on Tuesday, March 18, which shows the pair trying to evade a determined spymaster played by Mark Strong (Kingsman: The Secret Service and Zero Dark Thirty).
“Eight years ago, I recruited these two into a unit called Shadow Force. We did God’s dirty work around the globe,” Strong says.
The problem is the two fell in love, got out, and had a child.
But according to Strong: “Shadow Force came with one ironclad rule — no one leaves.”

The video shows Washington and Sy dodging bullets and explosions.
“I’m not gonna live in fear anymore. We are the hunters now,” Sy says.
“Then we need help,” Washington tells him.
The two declare war and get help from a pair of strong-willed relatives played by Cliff “Method Man” Smith, and Oscar winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
According to the official description: “Kyrah (Washington) and Isaac (Sy) were once the leaders of a multinational special forces group called Shadow Force. They broke the rules by falling in love, and in order to protect their son, they go underground. With a large bounty on their heads, and the vengeful Shadow Force hot on their trail, one family’s fight becomes all-out war.”
The film is directed by Joe Carnahan from a script Carnahan wrote with Leon Chills. Kerry Washington serves as a producer with Pilar Savone, Stephen “Dr.” Love, and Sterling K. Brown.
Shadow Force arrives in theaters nationwide on Friday, May 2.
