A trip abroad leads to romance for Tia Mowry in Lifetime’s Christmas From the Heart.
The actress leads the cast as Jade, a grieving widow who travels to Lisbon, Portugal for Christmas to meet the woman who received her late husband’s heart.
The trip takes an unexpected turn when Jade falls for the woman’s brother Alex, who is played by Henderson Wade.
As their connection grows, “Jade must navigate through an intricate maze of love and grief, while grappling with finding new romance while still feeling loyal to her late husband,” according to the official description.
Mowry also serves as an executive producer on the film, which is directed by Veronica Nichols from a script by Lorna Osunsanmi. Fox Entertainment Studios produces.
The movie premieres Saturday, Dec. 5, as part of the network’s annual It’s a Wonderful Lifetime programming event.
