Prime Video dramedy Harlem is adding to the cast for season 3.
Robin Givens, Kofi Siriboe, Gail Bean, and Logan Browning are joining the series, Prime Video’s “Culture Rated” initiative championing Black creatives recently announced on Instagram.
The four actors have all previously had roles on hit TV shows.
Siriboe is known to audiences as “Ralph Angel Bordelon” on OWN’s Queen Sugar and as Malik in the 2017 film Girls Trip.
Givens portrayed “Jada Jet” on The CW’s Batwoman and led the cast of OWN’s Ambitions.
Bean is known to audiences as “Wanda Bell” on Snowfall and as “Roulette” on P-Valley.
Browning starred as “Samantha White” on Netflix’s Dear White People remake.
According to Deadline, Siriboe will play a charming MLB player named Seth. Browning will portray Portia, an edgy and beautiful woman from Ian’s (Tyler Lepley) childhood. Bean will play Given’s daughter Eva, who is a venture capitalist working with Tye (Jerrie Johnson). Givens will portray Jacqueline, Eva’s no-nonsense mom.
Harlem was renewed for a third season in December 2023, as previously reported.
The dramedy stars Meagan Good, Grace Byers, Shoniqua Shandai, and Jerrie Johnson as four close friends — Camille, Tye, Quinn, and Angie — navigating their careers and the dating scene in New York City.
Season 2 saw Camille facing difficult decisions about her career and the two men in her life. Tye navigated a challenging divorce, Quinn sought balance in her life, and Angie met a new man who might be a keeper.
Per Amazon, season 3 will follow the ladies as they move into the next phase of their careers, relationships, and big city dreams.
The scripted series is created, written, and executive produced by Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip and First Wives Club ). In addition to Oliver, Amy Poehler and Pharrell Williams are executive producers.
The dramedy is produced by Amazon Studios and Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Paper Kite Productions.
A season 3 premiere date will be announced later.
