Created, written, and executive produced by Tracy Oliver (Girls Trip), the series revolves around four single Black women — Camille, Tye, Quinn, and Angie, as they navigate their careers and the dating scene in New York City.
“The only thing more fun than making season 2 of Harlem was getting to travel across the country and watch it with our fans!” Oliver said in a statement Wednesday. “Thanks to everyone who showed up to support and watched it at home! We’re so grateful for all the love and can’t wait to bring you an even juicier season 3.”
The series is produced by Amazon Studios and Universal.
“Harlem has continued to tell outrageously hilarious stories through the perspective of these uniquely special characters. Fans can look forward to more laughs, wit, and cultural commentary from the brilliant mind of Tracy Oliver and the amazing cast, Meagan, Grace, Jerrie, and Shoniqua,” added Vernon Sanders, head of global television at Amazon Studios.
Season 2 saw Camille facing difficult decisions about her career and the two men in her life. Tye navigated a challenging divorce, Quinn sought balance in her life, and Angie met a new man who might be a keeper.
Per Amazon, season 3 will follow the ladies as they level up into the next phase of their careers, relationships, and big city dreams.
In addition to Oliver, Amy Poehler and Pharrell Williams are executive producers.
A season 3 premiere date will be announced later.
