Oprah Winfrey will sit down with Quinta Brunson later this month, for a candid interview about Abbott Elementary and the inspiration behind the hit ABC series.

Brunson, 32, will also discuss her childhood, the mentors who guided her along the way and key moments in her career, OWN said in a press release.

The Emmy-winning writer, producer and actress created Abbott Elementary, which centers on a fictional predominantly Black elementary school in her hometown of Philadelphia. The comedy co-stars Tyler James Williams, Lisa Ann Walter, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Chris Perfetti.
