It’s one and done for Pearson.
USA Network handed down word Friday that the Suits spinoff was canceled after one season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The political drama starred Gina Torres as powerful attorney Jessica Pearson as she started a new life in Chicago. After she was disbarred, Jessica landed a job as fixer for Chicago Mayor Bobby Novak (Morgan Spector), and entered the dirty world of Windy City politics.

Along with Torres and Spector, the series starred Bethany Joy Lenz, Simon Kassianides, Eli Goree, Isabel Arraiza, and Chantel Riley.
Pearson premiered on Wednesday July 17, and ended its ten-episode run in September. The series suffered from low ratings, averaging around 500,000 viewers per week.
The drama was executive produced by Suits creator Aaron Korsh, along with Torres and showrunner Daniel Arkin.
Suits ended in September after nine seasons.
