A Patti LaBelle concert in Milwaukee was abruptly halted Saturday night when security rushed the music legend off the stage because of a bomb threat.

Video posted on Twitter showed the “If Only You Knew” singer talking to the audience, then yelling “wait!” — as three men escorted her off the stage without explaining what was happening.

Confused concertgoers could be heard in the footage asking, “What happened?”

The singer, known as the “Godmother of Soul” was whisked away to safety.

Local news station WTMJ reported a large number of police officers responded to the Riverside Theater, where the concert took place and everyone was safely evacuated from the building. The investigation is ongoing.

Pabst Theater Group, which manages the venue, posted a statement on Twitter thanking police for their quick response.

“Tonight’s @MsPattiPatti show at the Riverside Theater has been postponed following a bomb threat investigated by the Milwaukee Police Department,” the statement read. “We are thankful for the efforts of the Milwaukee Police Department and our customers and staff for their safe and orderly exit.”

In a follow-up tweet, concert organizers said they’re working with LaBelle’s team to reschedule the show.
