Notorious B.I.G. kisses his daughter in footage from Netflix's new documentary 'Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell'.

Rare stories and footage from the Notorious B.I.G.’s childhood and his rise to stardom will be showcased in Netflix’s new documentary Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell.

The streamer unveiled the trailer Monday, and said the film will be coming to the platform next month.

“This documentary celebrates his life via rare behind-the-scenes footage and the testimonies of his closest friends and family,” Netflix said in a press release.

The iconic hip-hop artist’s mother and friends, including Sean “Diddy” Combs paint a picture of who Christopher Wallace was before and during the time the world knew him as Biggie Smalls.

The trailer starts out with Biggie saying “That’s all it was. That’s all it was, was a dream,” as footage flashes on screen of crowds screaming before he takes the stage.

The video then shows the rap star’s concerts, his work in the studio and childhood photos. His entanglement with selling drugs is also examined, and Combs marvels at how big of a star Biggie became.

“You have no origins for what rap planet this guy came from,” the hip-hop mogul shares.

The documentary received the blessing of Biggie’s family, with his mother Voletta Wallace saying in a statement, “This will be the first documentary to focus on the experiences of my son’s life rather than the circumstances of his death. It is a celebration of who he was and where he came from. This is how he would have wanted to be remembered.”

Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell premieres on Netflix on March 1.
