Niecy Nash gets candid about her relationship with wife Jessica Betts on Wednesday’s season 4 premiere of Red Table Talk.
The 51-year-old actress and comedian tells hosts Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith and Adrienne Banfield-Norris she’d “never been with a woman before” her wife. Betts will also make an appearance on the Facebook Watch series to talk about how the two fell in love.
In a preview clip, Nash explains how her children reacted to her relationship with the singer.
“My daughters were like, ‘Wait what?’” Nash says. “My youngest daughter, she reminded me, she was like, ‘Wait a minute mom, are you the same mom that was like girl, I’m strictly dickly?’ And I was like, ‘Wah, wah. Like yeah, but no.’”

Earlier this month, the Reno 911! and Claws star talked to Ellen DeGeneres on her show about her recent marriage to the “Catch Me” singer. The two got hitched in August 2020.
“I lovingly call her my hersband,” she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Nash also made a distinction between coming out and what she calls coming within herself.
“I wasn’t anywhere to come out of. I wasn’t living a sexually repressed life when I was married to men, I just loved them when I loved them, and now I love her,” she told Ellen.
Nash was previously married twice before Betts. Her first marriage was to Pastor Don Nash, with whom she shares her three children. Her second marriage was to Jay Tucker and their divorce was finalized in March of last year.
Red Table Talk returns on Wednesday, March 31 at 12 p.m. E.T with new episodes streaming weekly on Facebook Watch.
