NBC is hoping to strike comedy gold with The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins.
On Monday, May 12, the network announced it’s given a series order to the sitcom from 30 Rock creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.
The single-camera comedy stars Tracy Morgan (30 Rock) as Reggie, a disgraced former football player on a mission to rehabilitate his image.
Daniel Radcliffe (Miracle Workers) co-stars as Arthur Tobin, a filmmaker who moves into Reggie’s home to work on a documentary about the ex-athlete’s comeback.
The cast also includes Erika Alexander (American Fiction) as Reggie’s ex-wife and agent Monica, Bobby Moynihan (SNL) as his former teammate Gator, Jalyn Hall (Till) as Carmelo, and Precious Way (Heist 88) as Brina.

The series is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group; Little Stranger; Bevel Gears; and 3 Arts.
Tina Fey and Robert Carlock executive produce. David Miner, Eric Gurian, Rhys Thomas, Robert Carlock, Sam Means, and Tracy Morgan are also executive producers. A premiere date will be announced later.
Also coming to NBC this fall is Surviving Earth, a look back at how life survived catastrophic events on the planet, and still managed to thrive.
And the network is tipping off NBA games on Tuesdays in October and Sundays in February as part of an 11-Year Agreement. The playoffs and WNBA coverage begin in the spring of 2026.
