Love & Marriage: Detroit stars Brandon and Kristina Bowman-Smith’s marriage is on the rocks.

When the OWN reality series returns for season 2 this weekend, Brandon and Kristina reveal they’ve separated after 12 years of marriage.

“I’m tired of holding on. I’m tired of the ups and downs. I’m tired of fighting. I’m tired of trying to explain how I feel,” a crying Kristina tells her estranged husband in an exclusive clip.

However, Brandon isn’t ready to give up on his marriage.

“God spoke to me,” he says. “I’m not saying I got all the answers. I don’t have the road map, but we got unfinished business. We did not live up to what we were supposed to be.”

For the last decade, Kristina — a stylist and influencer — has devoted her life to taking care of her two daughters, but now she must decide what her life will be like if she becomes a single mother.

Brandon owns the artist development program, Star Factory, where he trains young people to become singers and recording artists. But the business is a major reason for the couple’s marital problems because of the hours he spends away from home.

Per a press release from OWN, after a break-in at Star Factory, it’s questioned if Brandon and Kristina will realize they need each other to pick up the pieces for the business and their rocky marriage.

The new season will also find Kolby and Russell clashing over having another child, while LaToya struggles to balance her work as a doctor and wine entrepreneur and her marriage to Anthony.

Meanwhile, two new couples, the Dobines and the Samuels will threaten to shake up the group’s dynamic.

The series was created by Carlos King, and is produced by his Kingdom Reign Entertainment for OWN.

Love & Marriage: Detroit season 2  premieres Saturday, Sept. 7 at 9/8c, then move to its regular time slot of 8/7c on Saturdays starting Sept. 14.
