The first teaser trailer has been released for Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace — the third installment of Lifetime’s Harry & Meghan film franchise.

The network dropped the trailer this week on Instagram, and it shows the cast speaking to a camera in a confessional-type setting.

Prince Harry (played by Jordan Dean) starts by saying, “I will do everything in my power to keep my wife and son safe.” He kisses Meghan (played by Sydney Morton) on the forehead before another scene shows him putting on his royal regalia.

“I never thought this would be easy, but I wanted to make the Queen proud,” Meghan adds.

Additional royal family members shown in the trailer are Kate Middleton (Laura Mitchell), Prince William (Jordan Whalen), and Queen Elizabeth II (Maggie Sullivun).

The video ends with Meghan asking, “Have I made the world’s biggest mistake?”

As previously reported, the film is expected to debut this fall, but an exact date has not yet been announced by the network.

The made-for-TV movie will look at the factors that drove the royal couple to move across the pond with their son Archie.

Executive producers Merideth Finn and Michele Weiss, director Menhaj Huda and writer Scarlett Lacey all return for this third installment.
